1. First, a MYSTERY SENDER from GERMANY who sent me the amazing squirrel tail postcard! I currently butcher the pronunciation, but I promise to work on in so as to blend in with the locals. "Oachkatzlschwoaf!"
2. u/artdavinci for the monochromatic chicken! I love it! When I saw your offer I have to admit, the offer was so good and I was early enough to pick something but I was really struggling of what to pick! I was so unsure about my choice but not anymore! It's amazing! It's adorable! Thanks for a great exchange! Next time, perhaps I shall be confident enough to make you something!
3. u/bellanova2018 for the Cockington Green Gardens postcard! It looks like a real city! If you hadn't said anything I probably would have kept thinking it was! hahaha. I've only been to Canberra a few times and they were for really short trips so I haven't gotten to see that much. I've gotten to the AWM, the mint, and most recently the NGA for the Monet exhibit but that's about it. The National Museum and Lake Burley Griffin are definitely on my to do list! The lake perhaps when I don't go in winter lol! The Space Communication Complex also sounds wonderful! I hadn't heard of that either! So much to do in Canberra for our next visit! I'm pumped already! 5. u/kogeliz for the amazing black and white postcard of Sarah Winnemucca! They put the cancellation stamp on the wrong side! Luckily it doesn't cover Sarah but still, it's a shame about the picture! It also means that the stamps you used are uncancelled! hahahahah! Also, I got an Ernie postage stamp! Thanks for a great exchange, I hope that mine arrives soon!

7. u/Mikepenpal6 for the gorilla postcard! I love the Statue of Liberty with her apple in the right hand corner! To answer your question: no, we don't really celebrate Halloween here. I mean, not like how the US does. We certainly know of it, the department stores certainly try to push the holiday themed paraphernalia, but we don't really get any trick or treating happening. Perhaps just the odd private party or Halloween themed night out?

I like the Finding Nemo movie too; it's about our own Great Barrier Reef though so how can I not!? Turtles are awesome, too bad about the straws :( Thanks again for a great offer!

Over here we are currently in the midst of our jacaranda tree blooming season which I guess is the Australian version - the trees over here bloom in lavender though!
