First of all, posting this request and getting so many cards from other folks has really made me even more excited for this community, so thank you all! It’s been so fun to see other people just as excited about snail mail and crafting cards and stickers as I am. I’m approaching 50 thank yous but have probably sent out close to double that already through here (many to people you don’t expect acknowledgement, like when we’re flooding a hospital with cards), but this request has let me personally experience the community aspect of it more than ever.

I think Halloween has always been a favorite holiday because I’ve always been a weirdo, and I hung out with a lot of witchy/punk/goth kids growing up, and even though I’m in my 30s now, I still hang out with a lot of witchy/punk/goth kids, haha, and it’s just a special time of year.
