My plan was to release these cards next month, but I'm kinda bored now and have nothing better to do haha. So here I am again.

The pictures of this set of postcards were taken from the last work of Feng Zikai, Bizhouzizhen. If you would like one of them, comment here and then PM me your address. Do remember to mention the artist Feng Zikai in the subject line, otherwise I might forget about it. Please check out his Wikipedia page and the Google doodle honouring him on his 114th birthday. The postcards will be distributed randomly.

My preferred postcard themes are: culture, fine art, scenic view, etc.

Preface of Bizhouzizhen:

​

予少壮时喜为讽刺漫画，写目睹之现状，揭人间之丑相。然亦作古诗新画，以今日之形相，写古诗之情景。今老矣，回思少作，深悔讽刺之徒增口业，而窃喜古诗之美妙天真，可以陶情适性，排遣世虑也。然旧作都已散失。因追忆画题，从新绘制，得七十余帧。虽甚草率，而笔力反胜于昔。因名之曰敝帚自珍，交爱我者藏之。今生画缘尽于此矣！辛亥新秋子恺识。

Translation: When I was young, I enjoyed in creating satirical cartoons, in which I draw what I saw, and reveal what was ugly in human society. I've also drawn new illustrations for traditional poetry, using scenes from the modern word to depict subjects from classical poems. Now that I've grown old, in retrospect, I regret deeply that my satires may have vainly invited negative karma, but instead take delight in the wondrous and simplcit nature of classical poetry, which refines the mind and diverts it from the concerns of the earthly world. As all my previous works have been lost, I've recreated over 70 new paintings in memory of my former subjects. Though made in haste, my technique yet surpasses my previous works. As I've named this collection Bizhouzizhen (meaning "My Modest Treasure"), I'll in turn entrust these paintings to those who treasure me. My fate with art in this life ends here.
