[Request] Help, I’m applying to grad schools in the US [Singapore]

Post Body

Hi this is my first time requesting and it took me weeks to work up the nerve to post this...!

I am applying to do my Master’s in the US but I have the self esteem of a peanut and the self confidence of a plastic straw. I spent my undergrad years dealing with my variety of mental illnesses which has left me rather handicapped, so my grades aren’t as great as they could be. They’re decent but yeah not outstanding. I also wasn’t very involved in school because, again, I spent most of my time and energy fighting my demons and trying to function. So I’m not sure how I’m going to earn my place in the likes of NYU...

So I was wondering if I could get some cards of encouragement? Or if anyone has any success stories or tips that they could share that would be great as well! University recommendations are welcome too! I plan on pursuing my Master’s in Cybersecurity/Computer Science.

I’m currently looking at NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering; if anyone is able to send me cards/postcards of NYC for me to create a mood board/motivational board to look at & work towards will be very helpful as well.

Thank you all so much!
