So recently I got into estate auctions, and have been only using it for tools, and let me tell you, I've got an entire garage full for less than $500, it's a beaut! But this past one was from an old George Washington College professor vintage books. I had no choice, my inner nerd was busting through and made me make the final bid of $14. (Big spender, I know!) My chiropractor is a fan of these story as it's leading to six back to back session to re-align the damage of my inner nerd failure to read what he was bidding on. What I thought was a box of books turned into 10 boxes, up a flight to get in the door, down a flight to the basement for each box, I'm hurting still three days later.
Just over 400 books I got, many vintages, first editions, signed copies, it's a gold mine. But I know what you're thinking, get to the darn offer already (darn because in my head ya'll of the cute side of Reddit that doesn't swear, aha!) Well in these books I've found different things used as bookmarks from the early fifties to the nineties when these books were purchased and thought what a great way to get rid of more of those dorky cards in the collection (:
So I'm throwing the offer for a random card with potential nothing written on it to a quote or a random thought and a random piece of history that this professor used as a bookmark. Comment you actually read this and make sure I've got your address (:
Edit: WW has been taken, but I've ordered more for future mailings
