u/wisdombabies thank you for the weird postcard! I stared at it for an embarassingly long time, trying to get it. I have a theory: it's about how people take a long time to adjust from vacation, and start out still (figuratively) wearing their full suits, and then by midpoint, they've finally gotten down to just their tie, and they'll probably shed their tie juuust before their vacation ends, and then it's time for the office grind again? If it is, it's kind of sad-funny? I guess? Haha, anyways, it was fun thinking about it, so thank you!

I love how dramatic the illustration is - it really does look like an Indiana Jones scene (also if you've ever read the Young Wizards series by Diane Duane, that scene where they're on Mars in the underground bubbles). Your trip sounded so cool! I'm glad you saw such amazing formations. I'm both amazed and terrified of caves, so I'm happy to be able to see the sights vicariously through this postcard!
