The past couple weeks have been super busy for me and receiving these many wonderful cards in the mail has been such a godsend. Thank you so much. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to upload them as they came. It's kind of funny - I would take pictures of the cards hoping I would have time to make a post. Next day, I'd get a couple more - Do I make separate posts? Retake the picture with the new cards added? And the next day, I'd get 1 or 2 more cards. Retake or new post? AHHH! It was a good 'problem' to have :) So I thought a gif would do the job nicely :) Thank you everyone so much for these awesome cards! (cue super long thank you post)
u/brej9 - Thank you for the Motawi Tileworks card. I love the design of these white flowers (tulips?). The stem design is so neat! I love the fluidity of them~
u/janinjastrikesagain - Your card was definitely so therapeutic to look at! I love the intricacy of the smaller lines filling in the spaces of the bigger picture. Not to mention, the gold sparkly finish is super mesmerizing! I spent a good amount of time moving the card around with different light angles! XD Thank you!!
u/penguinsontv - Thank you for the beautiful scenic card from Switzerland! It definitely reminds me of the Rocky Mountains! The thick forest and clear lake in the middle - so beautiful~ I haven't sent yours yet (T___T) but will do so this week! Sorry for taking so long~
u/artdavinci - Thank you for pup card from Hollywood! Love the little *blep* from your pup~ Such a great photo of her <3
u/re1ko - My oh my! This hufflepug card is so freakin adorable! Thank you!! DH is such a good one in the series. Love how everything tied together and it was just so intense. POA is probably one of my faves <3
u/ladiesispimpstoo - Thank you for the Joan Beauchamp Procter card! I love the quote on it:
Why shouldn't a woman run a reptile house? Women are at work in my country, and the rest rest of the world, in all types of work and professions. - Joan Procter
So great and inspirational! Not to mention, the little reptilian creatures on the card are so adorable! Love the leash on the Komodo <3
u/gigi700gigi - Thanks for sharing your 6th birthday RAOC card! I love the colours on this card and how the warm colours are incorporated with the pink and yellow hues. I included the gold border sticker too bc it's just so sparkly and awesome! <3
u/junkyardjenny - Thank you for the beautiful Easter card (sticker and tattoos too!) I'm excited for the long weekend and all the chocolate goodies to come ;)
u/dwrfstr - I love the Georgetown Brewing card with instructions on tapping a keg! Love the quote from Lucille Bluth and holy moly, oolong tea beer sounds so interesting! I can imagine a pilsner type beer with oolong spice-like flavour!
u/slartibart_eatsalot / u/conqueror_of_destiny - Thank you for the seashell card and the bubble tea & dessert card! I really like the shading done on the seashells and the dessert one is so neat!
u/bellanova2018 - Thank you for the Adelaide Maxicard. It is so beautiful! I love the warm colours and all the light reflected in the water. Such cool architectural design too! I'll have to add Adelaide to my spreadsheet on travel-to places! The stamp is gorgeous too!! I'm impressed with the amount of detail on it~ thank you! <3
u/ladyg8r - Thank you for the Disney card! I'll try not to forget to be awesome ;)! I LOVE Minnie so this is perfect! She is definitely the original disney princess. I remember having the minnie ears with a matching minnie schoolbag growing up. Thank you so much for sharing on your cake day!
u/sonotawatermelon - Thank you for the amazingly artistic Edmonton card. I love the design so much. I've looked up some other illustrations done by Jason Blower and they are so beautiful. I just love how he uses shapes so well in his designs. It's so cool! Thank you - Hope your class gets lots of cards for the year <3
u/sweetasacoyote - Thank you for the beautiful collage card. It is so well made! The squirrel is adorable and I especially like the leaf - the shape and details on it really complete the card for me! Thank you for the stickers and bookmarks too! I forgot to include them in the picture and used them already but thank you! The temperature is getting warmer here too! Definitely seeing lots of Canadian geese migrating back and pairs of them hanging around :)
u/sosococomomo - I've searched my comment history to look for your username but had no success. You've written your real name on the card so I won't include that here but let me know who you are so you get the proper recognition!! Thank you for the "Basket of Flowers" by Andy Warhol card. I agree that this is so unique. The roses remind me of Alice in Wonderland :) I hope you get to visit Canada soon! It is pretty cool here (especially in the winter.. har har)! Toronto is pretty great but I love going up a bit north where Muskoka region is - it is super gorgeous there! Thank you for the card!
u/canameow - holymoly thank you for this beautiful seahorse card! I showed my partner and told them that it was handmade and they didn't believe me at first. It is intricate, creative and gorgeous. Just beautiful. Thank you for the stickers too and the seahorse cut out!
u/stephkempf - Thank you for the Pixar "Boundin'" card! I haven't actually done a positivity jar/journal before. That's such a great idea! And I have this weird thing with jars (I love jars - filling em, collecting em, decorating em) so this is right up my alley. Thank you for the tip and the card <3
u/bamagg - Thank you for the Klimt and Chagall cards!!! I feel so spoiled (in a good way)! The Klimt one is very intriguing - the way she's staring at the audience and holding her head up high and the way the snake blends in with her dress! Did some research into it and apparently there was a bit of controversy in Vienna because of this piece (with the rest of the Faculty Paintings). The Chagall one is awesome - love the surrealism in this painting. The redness of this print really emphasizes the passionate adulterous story of David and Bathsheba. Thank you for the bonus Klimt card and message on the adorable island yu-mi memo :)
Thank you so much everyone! I cannot express how appreciative I am~! Even if I haven't thanked you in this post, you're all so awesome! <3 <3
