So. My nan, Bertha, would've turned 74 today. Unfortunately, she didn't reach 74 as she died back in 2014 because cancer is an asshole (we recently hit the 5 year mark on February 9th)
She was an amazing woman. No, actually; she was the Best woman. Sure, she had her downsides, but they were few and far between. I was her first grandchild and we weren't just grandmother and granddaughter; we were best friends, and she was basically my second mother.
I miss her an insane amount and so, to stop myself lying awake all night and crying, I've decided to give out 12 cards in her honour. She was a kind, respectful, respected and loving woman and I hope to pass that on with some of these cards. They'll be filled to the brim with compliments, stickers, LOMO cards and whatever other crap I can find to throw at you all, haha. I'll include one memory of her in each card, too; every single one different, but good and wholesome and full of love that may just burst out from the pages.
They won't be sent out until slightly later in the week as I need to buy stamps, but I'm going to write them all out tonight and address them ready for delivery.
Please try to remember to post your country in your comment so I can update as we go, as always.
One, Two, Three
Four, Five, Six
Seven, Eight, Nine
Ten, Eleven, Twelve
(I'll cross out numbers as they go, too)
