Background

My brother,Amit, committed suicide last March. In the year prior to his death, he struggled financially, and I spent a lot of time supporting him. This meant rent, bills, food, all of it, and helped him try to get a job. I eventually convinced him to come back home and flew him back (LA to Ireland), and helped him get established, while also paying for a roof over his head. However, it was too much.

He appreciated what we did for him but he decided to end his life and was planning it for some time, despite the support my mum and I provided him. He had a little puppy too that he left behind, Darling, who is now living with her grandmother, i.e. my mum :)

Amit is an artist, poet and philosopher. He is a beautiful person who lived life on his own terms. He is an established artist with successful exhibitions behind him, published poet, and has a Masters in Philosophy with a focus on Nietzsche.

Sometimes people have difficult times, or a bad few months and need to be dug out, without prejudice.

Why today?

Saturday, 2nd March, marks the 1 year anniversary of his passing and my mum and I really want to reach out and help people on this day. We want to make and send personalised cards for people to help them and for us to spread the love across the world.

What we want to offer

We want to a card to anyone who requests it. It can be for any occasion or just for positive words. It's amazing what one positive thing can do for someone's day and we want to try to help!

We're also going to share some photos of us writing these with help from Amit's dog, Darling :)

We don't know how many we'll send out but we want to try to offer as much as possible to as many as possible! Please post and we will help you out some way!

What do i need to do?

From there, we will respond to your comment to PM and we'll ask for your personal address. We will stop taking request from late Friday PM.

On Saturday, 2nd March, Mum and I are going to go out and buy lots of cards with the aim to mail them on Monday! Look forward to hearing from you! :)
