Hi and season’s greetings to all from Mississippi!! I’m new to reddit and a proud mommy to two wonderful winter babies, Carson, soon to be 7, and Aubrie, 22months. Carson has a birthday 4 days after Christmas and he is excited to be turning 7!! Unfortunately I lost my job right before the holidays. I’ve explained to him that sometimes Santa brings gifts late because he has so many children to visit, but how can I explain no birthday gift or celebration?! I feel bad enough that I was unable to celebrate my daughter’s 1st birthday this year, just glad that she was too young to understand. My son however is well aware that his birthday is approaching, and reminds me daily. So in hopes to offset disappointment on his big day, I’m here asking for birthday cards to help celebrate my wonderful, kind, and very helpful son’s 7th birthday. He loves Tonkas, big trucks, and school buses, so receiving one with either of those themes will have him beyond elated. He would love trips to the mailbox to get his very own personal mail. I just want him to feel as much birthday love as possible so that his birthday still feels special to him. If anyone is willing and able, please help me bring some happiness to my son’s day.
