/u/the_thinkery_days: (x2) I have a tendency to be dramatic and ramble on when talking so I'll try and keep this concise: I love every single thing about these cards and envelope. I picked it up out of the mailbox on my way to the post office and when I saw the wax seal I actually said "holy cow" like a fifth grader :P I've wanted to use wax seals for so long (I actually designed my own fancy pancy one), and your letter is the first time I've received one, so I was pretty excited. The Winston Churchill quote resonates with me as it accurately captures how I've been feeling lately. Your penmanship is beautiful, and I can only hope to get my f's that perfect. Trust me I try daily and it's a struggle haha. Your card is so thoughtful; it was such a joy to read and truly warmed my heart. And I actually laughed outloud when you said your cat snores like an old man. One of my cats is like that too; he lays on the couch like he's tanning on some island resort and doesn't give a damn about modesty and lets everything hang out. I also was really blown away by how you designed the envelope. AND THE STAMPS: dear lord every thank you post I always compliment the stamp choice, but this time I really mean it. Did you really attend the World Stamp Show?? That's been on my bucket list for years! Aw man it would be such a dream. Seriously I hope you had a lovely time and if you did just... tell me everything that you saw and let me live vicariously through you haha
