Hi everyone,

As the title says, if you send in a card with a prayer request, I'll pray for you for 7 days. It can be easy for me to get wrapped up in my own little world and I thought this activity would be good for me to go outside myself for perspective and give back to others in service.

After I get everyone's cards, what I would do is designate a period of 7 days this month (in February) and dedicate each day to about 15-20 minutes in meditative prayer, depending on how many cards I receive. In these times, I will turn off all electronic distractions to help keep me focused and clear. Having physical cards to look at would be good for me to know exactly what I'm praying about.

It would help me a lot if you included an intention for your request, so I can understand the 'why' behind it. Before you write it, individually reflect on how it would make the world at-large better, too. What would you genuinely give back if your prayer got answered?

Whether your request is simple or complex, light or heavy, PM me if you are interested. To give you an idea of what I mean by "light," a few times I have prayed with a woman over the phone and asked if she could do a gratitude prayer with me. It surprisingly gave me a calm feeling and ended up making me feel peaceful.
