Post Body

Hello all,

I unfortunately have a very sad request. Last week my best friend passed away. And it's the first time I've been left alone since I found out. I cannot express in words the hole left in my heart at this time, and to try to do so, would just make it seem false. My biggest struggle right now is feeling like no one (in my personal circle) understands what I'm going through. Logically, I know some of them know what loss feels like, but it just doesn't seem like anyone could possibly understand.

However, despite all the horrible sadness and anger I've been feeling these last few days, one of the only things that has helped motivate me to get out of bed and to keep going is checking my mailbox. It may seem silly and weird but the kindness that this community shares and spreads with people truly makes me remember that there is good and happiness is out there and makes me want to continue to be a part of it.

I'm not looking for sympathy cards, because I don't think I could bear it. However, I think it would really help if people shared with me some of their favorite quotes/most influential quotes. My best friend loved philosophy and had a passion for learning and always had a quote for every occasion. Also, receiving mail would very much help me make it through the days to come and to help me keep going. So I would be eternally grateful for anyone who would share some of their top quotes with me to help me celebrate the memory of my best friend.

Thank you.
