It is, apparently, sort of, Georgia Day. (Not an official holiday.) It's celebrated because on this day in 1733, James Oglethorpe landed the first settlers at what later become Georgia's first city (and even later, the first state capital), Savannah.
Believe it or not, I only have two Georgia cards in my to-send collection right now - and both are vintage views from Savannah.
They are not what I would call the world's most beautiful postcards, so it seems today is an appropriate time to clear those out! To claim, comment the name of a Georgia city that seems fun to say. (Hint: There is not a wrong answer to this!)
