Unfortunately, I didn't get my required coffee this afternoon, so listing out all the wonderful folks who I found had filled my PO box today is going to take me a minute...
/u/larche14: Thank you very much for the snowflake postcard (with bonus snowflake art on the address side, too)! Also, is it just me, or are the Barns postcard stamps just oddly petite?
/u/grrr112: Unfortunately, your postcard came with a note from USPS that it'd arrived in damaged condition, with its picture side & most of the address side shredded... 😿 So, while I'm sorry that I won't be able to read what you filled the card sharing, I'm also happy that USPS was able to deliver enough of the card to me for me to be able to offer these thanks!
/u/mmmmmick: Your Goethe card was received—thank you very much—and you can expect my response shortly!
/u/stephkempf: The Bayeux Tapestry as your "next card" is pretty cool! My partner has a large canvas bag she picked up from Bayeux, which has since transmogrified into a piece of decoration in our apartment. (Also, ditto the comment regarding the Barns stamp above.)
/u/tyedyeamish: Thank you very much for the Miró art card & I hope you very much enjoy (or have enjoyed) your museum visit this week!
/u/rainbowquarts: If you're ever in my neck of the woods again, I have plenty of beer recommendations I can offer! Thanks for the classic Kodak ad card!
/u/latestartksmama: I was literally looking yesterday for cards similar to the UAL one you sent me—classic Jet Age airline ads, so thank you for this one! Similarly, have a Happy Valentine's Day!
/u/sufficient_letter883: I'm sorry to hear that vacation didn't turn out as you'd originally hoped, but I will take a listed to your recommended song for more insight. Thanks!
/u/truthfulsnack: I'm very much happy to help with bringing a little bit of joy to your mailbox; please let me know whenever I can do so again!
/u/danigeek: Two words I honestly never expected that I would see together when I started this carding adventure were "elk rut", so thank you very much for that... (Also, I imagine being there during that was an "experience"...) Regadless of my mild snark, though, thank you very much for the card & the laugh both!
/u/adoreible95: Thank you very much for the pun! And don't worry, I won't be having too much candy for Valentine's Day—I've made it the better part of four decades without any cavities and I'd very much like to maintain that clean record (and not because I consequently have a complex about dentists...)!
/u/heymorganm: Thank you very much for the postcard and the accoutrement!
/u/ritaalbertson: This card is hilarious, both for its generally poor composition as you note, and because I'm intimately familiar with CW—having spent many years in the area while growing up—and this is exactly the sort of poorly-thought-out product they'd release. So, thank you very much for the laugh!
/u/dwrfstr: Congratulations on speed-running adulthood in 2023! /s Plus it sounds like your early 2024 is jam-packed with fun too! My big goal for this year is some travel, hopefully to Tokyo this fall! (And in the immediate term, I'm going to see if my partner wants to jet off to London next week! 😼) (Also, was that a leftover wedding return address label? lol)
And thank you to /u/ghostchild25 for what was the single strangest piece of mail I've yet received.
Finally, before I forget, congratulations to both /u/yomelette & /u/spaaaaaacey for having solved their Park Hunt cards! Both of you can expect your promised prizes shortly in the mail!
