Greetings, fellow netizens. It is I, the intrepid lead researcher and grande dame of the RAoC Institute of Psychical Experiments. I do not want to discuss what RAoC stands for anymore, under advisement of my astrologer/attorney. But I think we've already established our reputation via multiple successful experiences on this sub alone. All we study at this point is telepathy, remote viewing, and astral travel. Our experiments on telekinesis were too successful and I cannot get them to stop! If that's you, I am willing to pay a ransom.

Speaking of successful experiments, our last one is massively successful so far, but I can't tell you about that because I'm still waiting on two cards. Such is the nature of international experiments. You can find the results for experiments one and two here and here. This time, we will be doing US only again just because of the turnaround time.

This experiment is nearly the same as the last.

Methodology:

1. I separated out the Kings, Queens, and Jacks from a standard deck of playing cards, but this time I've also added two Jokers. So that makes 14 cards to choose from... 12 face cards (King, Queen, and Jack of Hearts ❤️, Clubs ♣️, Diamonds ♦️, and Spades ♠️), as well as the 2 identical Jokers that don't have a suit.

2. I selected 5 random postcards from my destash pile and numbered them 1 - 5 in the upper left hand corner.

3. I took a moment to meditate on each postcard, shuffled the mini deck of 14 cards, and selected one. I wrote the result on the postcard. Due to the shuffling each time, there may be duplicate answers.

4. I recorded the answers as well as photographed the cards, which I emailed to myself so it has a date/time stamp in case of delay of lost cards, proving they were completed before I received a response.

5. I wrote this post up to right... now.

Now, for the exchange! If you would like to participate, please comment your number in the queue. Ie, if you're the first reply, post 1. Second reply, post 2. Etc. I don't allow random selection of numbers. This is how you will be matched to your postcard. The Institute will contact you with our address and attain yours in response.

Then, meditate briefly on the number. Try to picture the postcard and the playing card selected for you. Here is a picture of two suits from the deck I used, to aid visualization. Please do not let these suits influence your decision as they are not related to the selections. If you would like to purchase this deck of cards for yourself, I got mine at this local, sustainably sourced metaphysical shop called Walgreens, so you're probably out of luck.

Write down the card you believe I selected for you on a postcard or in a notecard. Remember to include your username, I keep track of everything else. Please mail it within a week if possible. You should receive our card within a week of the address exchange. You do not need to do anything special, but feel free to post a thank you!

You may wish to photograph your card and email the image to yourself in case I don't receive the postcard itself, so I can ethically include it in results. I just need to see that you guessed before you received the card from RIPE.

After I receive your card, I will post a regular thank you that doesn't mention results. I will post results once I receive all 5 cards to the meta sub. I did this differently in the past, but I can admit when I've led our cosmetologists down the wrong back alleys of Rotterdam. I will also be doing this for RIPE #3. I just think it's too confusing and was delaying flair too much to try to combine thank yous and results.

I will leave this up until we get 5 participants. You may take part even if you have in the past. This is a free for all, b*tches. If it wasn't, I wouldn't have messed up by only showing two suits in the picture!
