Those who have known me awhile know I have very bad luck with cars. Today I was at a woman’s house to get a free 42 inch TV. I put the car in park & got out of the car. Only I left it in reverse - not park apparently. The car was parked on a huge hill so it started rolling backwards. I tried to push it forward / slow it down but it was at such an angle that it was rolling way too fast & had too much force. I also couldn’t jump into it. I turned the wheel so it hit a tree instead of rolling into their property or down a very steep hill across a public roadway into a nearby business. The car was moving so fast that I almost got trapped in the door as the car was coming down towards me with the door open. The CRV needs a new trunk / back door.

I’m fine. Just bruised my ego a bit. Least I have an excuse to eat junk food tonight.
