The end of this year has been full of a lot of emotions and difficult things that have brought my gratitude to the forefront of my thoughts. All of you here and this place are two of the things in my life I'm truly, genuinely grateful for. I don't think I've ever received so many cards in December in my life! It's going to take multiple posts over a few days to catch up. These are in no order of arrival, preference or gratitude!
Here we go:
Mystery Sender who possibly offered something based on User Names? No postmark visible, a US postcard stamp, vintage postcard of Ambassador Bridge in Windsor, Canada with a dad joke about bridges that I absolutely loved! Included a very lovely pen and ink drawing of a bridge :) Hope you somehow see this!
u/bluedecemberart: Loved my 3D wintery bear holiday greeting and the cool blue snowflake and mushroom washi :) Your calligraphed printing on the address was gorgeous!
u/recipes4ever: I loved my silly Santa on a payphone card :) Very cute! And yes, my "no preferences" as to cards received this year yielded more and various cards than I ever thought possible :) TY for the stickers inside and loved the pretty flower and tiny donut/heart stickers you used on the envelope!
u/iheartcitrus: Your Christmas card was absolutely GORGEOUS!! I love, love, love something sparkly and gold glitter is a top fave! Did you make the envelope with the gold inside? I loved all the stickers you used on the envelope.
u/thecaledonianrose: Your blue glitter winter pond skating card was absolutely beautiful! TY so very much-that was definitely up my alley! I loved the snowflake sticker on the envelope. Your pretty handwriting is always lovely! TY for my stickers too :)
u/tynesha: TY for my glittery Merry Christmas card :) I LOVED it-love me some sparkle! I loved the stickers you decorated inside with :)
u/tinawebmom: Your handmade card was just gorgeous!! Loved the washi on the envelope and the stamp was one I don't think I've ever seen before.
u/Fancykiddens: TY for my adorable handmade Santa card! Loved every single sticker on it and it :) LOVED your family portrait!! The green leaves washi on the envelope was so pretty. Thanks for being a wonderful RAoC friend!
u/TigerLady13: Loved my Habitat big bulb Christmas light card! So pretty, and all the decorations you added were too! TY for the recipes you sent. One of our holiday food traditions growing up was always having something Italian American on the loaded table along with the traditional foods. So, we'd have a turkey or ham or roast (sometimes two meats) and then spaghetti and meatballs, eggplant parm, or occasionally a lasagna. I generally do that to this day if I'm hosting a holiday dinner! So delicious!
u/littlemermaidxx: TY for my sweet nature themed Christmas card! The colors, design and font were all so beautiful and I loved every sticker you used on the envelope :)
u/strawberryforestlady: TY so much for that gorgeous silver snowflake holiday card! I loved my penguin buddies in sticker form inside it too with the beautiful blue winter washi! Loved my big sticker to use too!
u/mondaycat73: I LOVED my summery Australia Christmas card! I think you are the only one from Australia this year, and actually-maybe ever in my life :) It was so cool to see a summery aesthetic on a Christmas card for me! TY for my stickers to use, and the Disney cards. I have three grandsons, so I think I will send them on to them to enjoy as well. I loved the deer and evergreen washi-so pretty! Also, your gift tag is going to be colored in by me, and I'm using it as a bookmark!
u/venefiction: I loved my Jollibee postcard :) TY so much and for telling me all about it-I loved it! Also, your book recommendation was great-I have heard of that and had it on my list to read for awhile, so that just gave me another nudge to look for it in the library! Loved those stamps too. Did you type my address label on a typewriter?? I wish I still had a typewriter!
