Are you familiar with Zener cards? They're a tool to test ESP abilities through the prediction of symbols, which is something we do here at RIPE (note: we are not technically endorsed by r slash randomactsofcards, but we are endorsed by a different RAoC that I'll tell you about later).

The symbols are: cross, square, circle, star, three wavy lines that Uri Geller claimed were an SS symbol when he sued Nintendo over the beloved Pokemon Kadabra. Please refer to the linked article to see how they are drawn.

Our current experiment is looking for users interested in telepathy and remote viewing. As the head researcher, I have taken 3 notecards and pulled a Zener card for each, then drawn the corresponding symbol in each card. They are ready to be addressed and mailed. The first commenter will get the first card, second commenter will get the second, and so on.

For your part of the research, I would like you to predict which symbol you will receive, draw it on a postcard or in a notecard, and mail it on over to RIPE. Upon receipt of both cards, we will confirm if there were any matches. We will publish results if they are favorable. You will not be compensated for participation.

Yes, someone could wait until they receive their card, open it, then draw the same symbol and claim they were just running late but didn't cheat. If you are thinking this, shame on you. Also, I have an attorney on retainer.
