Thank you u/synchrotronboson for your quilt card from Missouri Star Quilt Co. It was nice to read a long personal message from a fellow quilter! I like your advice of doing things in smaller doses and I like the idea of putting a note in to help you remember where you left off. Quilting definitely takes a lot of patience and effort, so I can understand why we procrastinate on in our modern life full of quick dopamine hits. I looked up your favorite quilters on Instagram and their art is pretty good!
I like many forms of quilting, but my recent favorites are foundation paper piecing, collage quilting, and anything scrappy. Some of my favorite quilters are Elizabeth Hartman, Emily Taylor, Bisa Butler, and Karolina Bakowska. As for organization, at the moment I have my fabric pieces folded in cardboard boxes and the fabric scraps sorted by color in transparent bags.
