I REALLY appreciated your note. Although we're in totally different fields, I related to the feelings you experienced a lot. I've gotten through other bad work situations before and moved onto better things, so I know that it will eventually get better. Thank you fore reminding me of that.

u/travel4me22 Thank you for the cute pop out card with the pig and turtle on it! Thank you also for the encouraging words about my work situation. Things still aren't resolved, but they've calmed down enough that I have been able to focus on making cards (doing art helps my anxiety) and reading way more than I had been, which is helping me focus on things I enjoy that are not work. Hopefully, it just continues to get better.

As a practice, I try to remind myself everyday of all the things in my life that I'm proud of and happy with that have absolutely nothing to do with my career, and there's a lot of great things. Thank you for including this passage you love; I am trying very hard to enjoy this moment I'm in and not to just long for an imagined future where things could be better

I can't fully relate to your work situation (that sounds very intense), but I can relate to doing the right thing and people being angry at you about it. I think this work experience has shown me that I can deal with a lot, and even though things are really scary and anxiety-inducing, I haven't given up and I know I can keep going! Thank you also for all these adorable food stickers. The little sparkly boba is the cutest thing I've ever seen!

Even if there are sentiments in here that could apply to many people, there were things in this card that I needed to hear right now, especially "You have this incredible ability to take care of things, both at work and at home, without ever being asked. It's an admirable quality that many might not always notice but it certainly doesn't go unappreciated." :)
