A very special thank you to the brilliant, u/Intrepid-Researcher:

My sincere apology for this super duper quadruple late thank you post...

How do I even begin to thank you for such a sweet and precious birthday gift/s? I'll do my best and I hope my words can express even half of my gratitude...

I'll start with the most precious gift of all...

You drew the shape of my heart, my sweet Hendrix... * A small watercolor portrait of one of my favorite pictures of him. * An 8x10 portrait of the same beautiful photo. Watercolor and pen, I think... * A large charcoal drawing of my son. I love this so much!โค๏ธ My dear friend, you are a true genius. I am in awe of your artistic talent. I am so touched that you took the time to draw my Hendrix. It means the world to me. All of your art is framed and proudly displayed on my walls. I will send you a photo of my JJ wall someday :)

Your package came in one of those cute posten boxes. I love the illustration on the box. It looks very autumn themed.

  • First, I open a box that was made in Japan. It is a Kuretake Gansai Tambe Watercolors box. The box is black on the bottom and the cover is olive green. I smiled because I have used this watercolor before :) You washi taped (washi tape is white with black rabbits and gold foil flowers) one of your amazing drawings, is it a wolf? a dog? either way, I love it! In the colors of yellow, orange, red and blue bubble letters, it says; "Don't mind me, just re-using this box :) I thought this was so cute :)

Inside the box is a gift within a gift, within a gift... first let's started with...

๐Ÿต๐Ÿซ–:
โœจ Twinings of London (pure chamomile)

โœจ Pukka (elderberry & echinacea)

โœจ T2 teas: I love the positive quotes in the front of the tea. I also love the creative and poetic description of the tea.

๐Ÿƒ Melbourne breakfast is a full bodied vanilla sweet tea.

๐Ÿƒ Earl Grey is a Sti Lankan black tea combined with the citrus delight of bergamot.

๐Ÿƒ Gorgeous Geisha is a Sencha green tea combined with the flavors of strawberries and cream.

๐Ÿƒ Pumping Pomegranate had a sweet, tangy and mustical flavor. I love the flavor mix of apple, hibiscus, rosehip, elderberry and pomegranate seeds.

The T2 teas are probably my favorite tea from all of the teas you've shared with me. They are packed in Morocco with imported ingredients. Go figure, I love Morocco. Thank you god sharing it with me. I enjoyed every one of them :)).

๐Ÿ Wrapped in a red and gold ribbons are so many wonderful postcards/cards of various themes and sizes. โœจ midnight cloud moon โœจ pink flowers inside an antique car. they card says; "you are everything when you are with me, end everything is you when you are not.", haha :D โœจ an abstract postcard with the colors of green and muted colors. โœจ A cute postcard with children, bunnies and balloons. There is a giant mushroom in the center and a little bit inside the mushroom is handing out drinks :) โœจ A cute postcard with fairies flying in the garden with a full moon in the background. โœจ A cute postcard with an elf sitting on a wall whilst talking to children on a windy autumn day. โœจ Postcard with a sunset and clouds in colors of purple, orange and yellow. โœจ A mom in the kitchen preparing a meal as her daughter watches her in curiosity as she prepares the food. โœจ 3 postcards from the illustrations of Ivar Rรธdningen. I quite like his art. I love the colors he uses and the nature and fairytale theme... It's quite magical. I also like the gold foil on the edges... The back of the cards says; Trollek Holmenkollen, Hjem med kjerring, Geiranger. โœจ Etter tegninger av Rolf Lidberg: Love the illustration & the girl joyously eating berries from the ground is so cute! I also like that the back pod the postcard has a black and white illustration with a girl on the left side sitting by a tree and writing a letter and a boy on the right side sitting by a tree thinking of what to write. Too cute!!!

I love postcards from there. They are so creative, dreamy, naturesque and farytale like...

๐ŸŽถ: The cutest little postcard of a music store on wheels: I love the illustration :) In the windows you can see musical instruments and phonography. The illustration on this little card would be my happy place. I could play there for hours, haha :) In the back of the postcard you made a playlist :) I love all the songs :)) You also drew green vines with red flowers on them๐ŸŒน๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿƒ

โœจ 4 mini sheets. One with a cute bunny blowing a heart kiss to a butterfly in a field of tulips, haha :) The 4th one is a mason jar mini sheet. You wrote a message about the package reaching me for my birthday. In case I didn't tell you, it arrived days before my birthday...๐Ÿ’›

You also included 2 postcards with messages I enjoyed reading . Thank you for catching up with me :)

๐Ÿฅณ๐ŸŽ‚๐ŸŽ‰: Birthday Card: You gave me the most beautiful birthday pop up card. The beauty starts with the envelope. It is shimmery gold and the back of the envelope seals in the the shape of a heart... the best way I can describe it is... it's like "sashimono" or japanese joinery... I'm in love with sashimono :) The pop up card turns into a box of colorful flowers and butterflies. It is so beautiful... It is one of the most beautiful cards i've ever received :)))

๐Ÿš๐Ÿฆช๐Ÿš:
You shared with me shells that you picked up from your cabin. It's so special that you picked these yourself. It's always fascinating to see what peaked your interest. The chosen shells among the dozens and dozens of shells to choose from... You wrote down all of the shell names :) Thank you, this was quite useful. I put all the shells you sent me on a large bowl I have that I bought in Morocco :)

๐Ÿชจ๐Ÿ”ฎ๐Ÿชจ: In a small black box are various rocks. Some I recognize are jade, crystal quartz, rose quartz, tiger's eye, citrine, raw garnet... the rest is a great mystery :)))

In a small, round plastic container are mini rocks. They are so tiny and cute. I love all of the jewel tone colors on the rocks. Especially the deep blue, deep purple, turquoise and teal.

๐Ÿงต๐Ÿชก๐Ÿ“:
You shared 2 gorgeous floral patchwork fabrics. * A greenish blue fabric with yellow, white and pink flowers. * A yellow fabric with pink flowers and brown leaves & petals.

๐Ÿ“˜: A Moomin mini notebook. It's so cute... The Moomin characters are at the beach just having a grand ol' time, haha :) The moon and stars are out... And there is a light house. They are all waving to each other...

And last but not least... A Beatles Abbey Road pin!!! I absolutely LOVE it! I put it on my jacket :)

Thank you my friend, for so much kindness. Your gifts are always so brilliant and meaningful. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for drawing my Hendrix. You are my favorite artist, truly... Your work always comes from a deeply inspired territory. I'll never be able to fully express my gratitude for your art, your letters and your gifts. Please know that I appreciate you. And I cherish our friendship greatly. It's very special to me...

Thank you & i'll be seeing you...
