Thank you so much to everyone who offered condolences after my grammie passed. I truly appreciate it, your cards and kind words added brightness to some dark times π
u/balosi it's so cool that you inherited cards, and I am thankful to have received one! Thank you as well for the jokes π
u/zuhms thank you for sharing about collecting stamps with your dad- those little traditions are so important! I'm still pretty new to collecting stamps but I'd also like to pass them on someday, it's cool to think about collections that way!
u/DollieSqueak thank you for sharing about exchanging mail with your MamΓ©re, and reminding me to focus on the sweet memories I had with my grammie! I also appreciate you reminding me to not ignore myself in this. I might try the memory journaling, that sounds like a good outlet!
u/dizzypussywillow thank you for the beautifully decorated card! I'm glad to hear that raoc has been such a bright spot for you, I know it's been great for me too!
u/Few-conition-6309 it's cool that your grandma was also the one to get you into cards! And Saskatchewan says hi back!
u/GreetingCardShark thank you so much for your card, and the tree it represents! My grammie was as much a philanthropist as she could afford to be, I don't think she ever bought envelope seals or return address labels that weren't some sort of fundraiser, and she always got me and my brother Canadian Geographic magazine subscriptions as she was passionate about the environment as well. Your gift felt so appropriate for her memory, I had chills. Thank you π
