Hello RAoC! I am happy to announce I have very good news. I thought I would need to make a request today but it turns out that is not the case! Help me celebrate by sending some fun cards!

TW: Cancer & Surgery

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in March and for the last 6 to 7 months I have been preparing for a double masectomy.

After meeting with my surgeon today he has confirmed per sonogram & MRI results that I had a 100% response rate to my chemotherapy. The beginning of this whole ordeal was a Rollercoaster and this was something we never thought would happen (we had bad news around every corner of this).

I'm still a little in shock and waiting for someone to say "sike" or "just kidding, lol".

I still have a minor surgery for some tests and discussion of radiation with my oncologist (follow up is in about 3 weeks). But this is AMAZING news as of now for myself and my family. (I'm hoping it doesn't change and surgery is off the table for good - but I guess we'll find out when I talk to the oncologist. As of now I am celebrating unless they tell me different).
