My 12 yr old needs some encouragement right now. She is in special education services and has been bullied at her school for over a year now. She's a quiet, shy girl. Who just made the volleyball team. So I ask that you congratulate her for this accomplishment. 7th grade is hard. Things got violent this past week.
My 12 yr old was attending volleyball practice and afterwards was jumped by 3 girls in her grade. She was kicked and punched in the head repeatedly and no one broke it up. There were 50 girls in the locker room, and everyone cheered it on. She was sent to the emergency room and is back at home with me. Her feelings are hurt, she's scared, and confused by this attack. Some girls even took a video. The police are involved. But my girl needs some hope and friendliness. This is truly hard to handle. I'm back at work today, and I'm hoping we can send her some love. Please don't mention the attack. She's an amazing girl that struggles with Dyslexia. But she has come a long way, and is working off of special education. This is the first time she has tried out for sports. And she don't want to quit the team. She's strong and is willing to keep trying. This has been horrible for our family. Please if your willing to send a card leave a comment and I'll reach out. Thank you for your time.
