Do you have a favourite place to camp? A fun fishing story? A spooky campfire tale? Maybe you went to a summer camp as a kid and have a fond memory of an activity? Or perhaps you have neat tips and tricks about the outdoors. Why do you think nature is great? Whatever it is, I'd love to hear it!
This might sound like an odd request, but I love the outdoors. I used to camp solo in remote areas, but now I'm in process of developing an outdoor science camp for children to teach them about nature -- ornithology, ichthyology, astronomy (my favourite), horticulture, you name it! I spent a lot of time developing fun activities/curriculum, stocking the pond to prep it for fishing, gathering like-minded counselors, rearing to start -- except permits and certifications took a lot longer than I thought to get approved. Now, summer has come and gone and I'm still waiting for approval for some things. My team and I are feeling a little bummed as we weren't able to launch, but such is life.
I'd appreciate hearing your stories as a bit of pick-me-up while we wait. Please DM me for my address, and if you'd like a Thank You in return, let me know your mailing address!
