As always I am notoriously behind on my Thank You posts to the kind people who share their light with me through my mailbox. I want to share my deepest apologies for not getting to these people sooner, while acknowledging that it will almost certainly happen again in the near future. Alas, the modern world has us all scatterbrained and stretched thin. Without further ado I will express my gratitude.
u/pickupthepieces - Thank you so much for the tea and mindfulness card. I am sorry the year started out so rough for you, but I am so glad things are looking up!
u/dwrfstr - Thank you so much for the Alaska card, friend! I have never visited, though there is a chance that I will take a job out there eventually. My chosen field of work has a lot of operations in that state. I hope your summer has been fabulous!
u/TyeDyeAmish - Thank you so much for the puppy postcard and right back at you on the mailbox joy!
u/ez330 - Thank you so much for the Kensington Palace gardens postcard! I would love to cross the pond some day and go on a long history tour! Getting me to come back may prove problematic though!
u/celpel - thank you so much for the floral postcard! your handwriting and decorating skills are exquisite! I believe that adventure is all around us, if we only look for it and accept that it is a little uncomfortable at times.
u/jane_q - Thank you so much for the message on what makes you cuss. I relate to almost all of that. I hope you're staying cool and finding some positive interactions online!
u/JaimeLaVieEnRose - Thank you so much for the Potter card! The Basilisk was such a terrifying monster when I read the books as a child. It is still true twenty years later. And where did you find those stickers?
u/mynameiscandycain - Thank you so much for the Opatija, Yugoslavia card! I adore things like this! I hope you're doing well and that you get some faraway adventures in the near future!
u/melhen16 - Thank you so much for the American Facts postcard! I always love to learn something new!
u/rosiealeo1 - Thank you so much for the Destiny postcard! My thermostat is set at 75 to 78 in this heat, but I also like to keep all of the fans on for maximum airflow. Keeping the windows shaded also prevents some of the heat from making its way inside and helps me achieve the hermit vibe I like on my days off of work.
Thank you so much everyone! If I have time to be at my desk later today there will be another round of thanks posted!
