Post Body

My sweet little boy Cameron (8 years old) just had a birthday "party" this past weekend. His actual birthday is Friday though. We planned everything out for weeks for him, he deserved every bit of effort. We don't have much in the way of money but I wanted him to know how special he is. Cameron has worked hard this year to bring home nothing but A's.

Despite having ADHD and other things that make school so much harder, he also has struggled with be bullied this year. This birthday party was suppose to be really special. We had invited the couple close friends he has, family, and a few of my friends whom have children his age.

Well party was Saturday, we waited for guests to show up, and no one.. literally no one else did. He cried, and of course I felt guilty. I thought for sure someone would make it. Even if they were late and they showed up empty handed... I just wanted someone to show up.

I'm reaching out to see if someone on this subreddit wouldn't mind showing love to a forgotten little boy. He loves receiving mail. I pray it will brighten him up a bit.

Things that Cameron loves - the color red, Pokémon, anything to do with space, baby yoda, stickers, Fortnite, Toy story, drawing (he's very talented), and reading (Dr Suess is his favorite!)
