I was in NYC for a few days and returned to two dozen cards! To these lovely folks, thank you so, so much for sending me lots of care, support and happy thoughts in the mail. Thank you for the podcast recs, the jokes, the kind words and all of the daisies (and other flowers), sloths, cats, elephants and space-themed stuff you sent my way, whether they were stickers you enclosed or decorations on your cards & postcards. It's rather overwhelming to be on the receiving end! I will never forget this kindness. Group pic with my mom's roses
u/Ashnetta - Thank you for the fun St. Patrick's Day postcard!
u/DaenerysWon - Thank you for the Georgia O' Keeffe postcard. The yellow washi &pen ink and the cute stickers made for one sunshine-y piece of mail!
u/ninajyang x 2 - Thank you for the 2 food postcards. (Now I want some cheese… hehe.) I do the same, I'll sometimes send mail because it's an activity that sorta brings me back to myself, if that makes sense. Will check out This Podcast Will Kill You!
u/littlemermaidxx - Thank you for the elephant postcard with the elephant joke! That's a cute username stamp and I loved the gold foiled space washi as well.
u/Arrow5555 - Thank you for the illustrated postcard and the musical artist jokes! :) I like the vintage stamps and the fun little stickers.
u/drguinea - Thank you for the cute cat & moon postcard and for sharing a few lines you read recently. Making a request was definitely a way of allowing myself to receive love, care and support. Was that a Lisa Frank sticker? So fun!
u/ambykittykat - Thank you for the supportive Em & Friends postcard and for your kind words and reminders. They helped me feel less alone. I also loved the frog sticker that says "It's a good world because you're in it." Right back at you, friend.

u/MrsQuasi - Thank you for the supportive card and for the stickers you included. I read your card about halfway through the stack and yours was the one that made my eyes well up. I definitely felt the love and kindness of strangers. Thank you so much for being part of that boost that I needed. Oh, and sloths, suns, daisies & other flowers… I noticed the little touches and I appreciate them!
