Hello again, lovelies! I have so much carding happiness from the past two weeks on the desk with me. Thanks for being so patient with me, as always. I’ll try to keep this short not because I’m not appreciative but because I’m still feeling a bit off from the week of vertigooooo….wwhhoooaaa…but you guys are amazing and deserving of some flair and lots of hugs and the public embarrassment that I do that is equivalent of a mom bragging on her kids in front of their friends.

It was such a rookie mistake… I filled out an application for another one today, but it was too late… again! I should be happy for her, and I am! I’m just a bit sad, too, bc I’m being selfish… I’ll keep looking, though!

Oh, my goodness, so your adorable moms/chocolate card made me laugh so hard! I learned that my irl best friend from high school also started keeping a secret chocolate stash, so your assessment is 100% accurate with our sample size of two. Lol Chocolate IS necessary. Tbf, I only keep it a secret because I know they hate my dark chocolate, but they still see it, get excited, try it, and promptly spit out my preeeccciiiouuuusss (< Gollum voice) chocolate all over the place, adding insult to injury because then I have to clean up the mess… I’m just grasping at straws when really I just want to eat all of it, probably.

I also received such a cute postcard from the bookstore from the trip! It’s so incredibly cute. If I go anywhere, I’m always on the lookout for a museum and/or bookstore to visit, and the fact that you were able to find such a fun place makes me so happy.

The doggo card you sent from the We Rate Dogs calendar make me smile every single time! I didn’t get my calendar this year, so these were perfect! :D

Your bobcat stamp story was so funny. They ARE so pretty. I’ve noticed them on the website and kept meaning to ask the mail clerk if they had any, and you shared some with me?! You are so incredibly sweet! Thank you so much! I think out of all the current stamps, the foxes are my favorites! I cannot stop getting them, and they’re so versatile! Add a matching bunny for a first-class letter or add 4 adorable bobcats for a postcard!

Your “Kitten in an Apple Tree” card arrived, and it is adorable! I thought I had updates today on the new cat front but learned 5 minutes ago that wasn’t the case at all. :( E tried to cheer me up by saying, “We have a perfect dog who needs some love right now! Go give him attention!” I went over to do just that, and the old curmudgeon that he is got up off the couch and went to the bedroom so I’d leave him alone to sleep! :| lol Oh, well.

Then, I got your green envelope with the “Keep Calm and Have a Nice Day” postcard and also your typewritten letter! It’s always so nice to hear from you and I love when good things are happening your way! You’re so sweet for keeping me updated on the fun life events! I’m so happy for every single little bit of it!

One was with hearts and love on the front, two AZ postcards, and two more of the… I’m blanking on the postcard set here… Postcards from Paradise, maybe? I loved how you decorated them with the stickers and the sprinkles background, and I loved hearing about your beginning days of training and all the adventures so far! 

Then I got your pretty blue card with the donuts and coffee stickers on the front, and it reminded me of when I was in the bakery… on bad days the other cake decorators would intentionally mess up cakes so that we’d have to start over… so that we’d have a mini-party in the breakroom at lunch with the “ugly” cake that we simply just could not sell! “They asked for blue icing, after all… I misread it as ‘ORANGE.’” Coffee might even be better! 

Lol… the kittens with their tongues hanging out! They’re just too cute for words! I love that you had your celebration and am kicking myself for not sending your card for the occasion. For some reason I was misremembering it as March or April, but you told me, and I should’ve known better! I’m glad you got to spend the time, even if you weren’t feeling the best for it.

Your valentine is here! Annoottttthhherr one because you spoil me so. It’s so sparkly, and I was so glad to hear the updates… still hoping for good outcomes to head your way.
