u/SherlockLady x 5 Thank you soooo much for all the CRAZY FUN goodies!!!!!! I love it all, including the *precious*, perfect postcard of the Guelder Rose Fairy, the neat old-timey vintage postcard of what looks like the NY skyline, the cool black & white hashtag card with your sweet thoughts & warm welcome to the sub, the vintage Episcopal church postcard, & the adorable little orange “You are my sunshine” card that IS sunshine like you!!!! That is just craaazy cool that I share a bday with your son! I also love all the fun Little Twin Stars & Hello Kitty stickers you sent that are so my jam!!! You have such a fun style! Most of all, thank you for the LOVE that you sent, incredibly, through not only the mail, but through your positive spirit!!! Wishing you boundless joy, always. I appreciate you so much!! :)

u/Jdoodle7 Thank you for this super sweet & bright colored pencil postcard with the lovely Goethe quote, “We are shaped & fashioned by those we love.” Hmmm, I wish I could go back in time to consult with Goethe. Because I love my dumb, crappy family out of obligation, but I don’t want to be fashioned by them lol!!! But maybe I’m getting stronger by loving their lame a$$es or some such crap which makes me a better human being?!? I dunno. Either way, I appreciate your sweet V-Day wishes & hope you had a lovely V-Day! =)

u/mumbagoespainting My heart is beating like crazy at the sight of these ADORABLE little chicks you painted!!!! Thank you!!!!! I LOVE your wonderful watercolor skills!!! I wish I could paint like you! I have watercolor palettes but am so so bad at letting the water help me. I just saturate the heck out of the paper because I’m obsessed with color. The way you highlighted the dark/light elements is just spectacular! I also love your thoughts, that “Pretty usually means full of color, sparkle, & movement.” This is such a fabulous definition! I’m stealing it! I never thought of “movement” in this way - that’s mindblowing & I’m so lucky you shared with me. The word “sparkle” is so much fun too. I also agree with you, that being humble is pretty. :) Thank you for brightening my day with your gorgeous art!!!! Wishing you infinite color, sparkle, & movement, my friend!

u/travel4me22 Thank you for the cool Asian bird print postcard with the neat flowers & for allowing me to help you lessen your pile of postcards! =) Wishing you more postcards to derail your plans hahaha! ;)

u/Fyrestarr x 2 OMG you sent me such terrific treasures!!! How cuuuute is this unicorn V-Day card?!!!!? All the fun colors & the positive vibes that came with it totally brightened my day so much! You decorated the envelope & the card so nicely with all the cute stickers & pretty washi! The gel clings are adorable - my nephew & niece will love playing with them! The mini Care Bears V-Day card with the matching sticker is just…overwhelmingly cute! Too, too cute!!! I also love the V-Day word search with the sweet little birdies on it! You made my heart melt into a puddle with this gorgeous Snoopy & Woodstock “Happy Day” sticker in the most vibrant pastel colors!!! I’m obsessed with the Peanuts gang. Your beautiful, brightly colored mail brought me lots of peace on what was a stressful day. Thanks a billion for sending so much love!!! Hope you had a beautiful V-Day. Wishing you lots of joy, friend!

u/SeafoamBagel20 THANK YOU!!!! What a delicious treat - your crazy cool collage skills are just amazeballs!!! I love all the colors, stickers, & prints you used so artfully, as always!! It’s also neat how you balance both modern & vintage images. What I love so much is how I’m able to learn from you for my own newbie collages - I see now that I’ve been too afraid of layering. I really limit my layering when I collage because I feel like I’m gonna cover up too many things. But you are truly a master at the art of collage! Thank you for inspiring me so much. =) I also LOVE the deep thoughts you sent for my writing prompt. I asked, “Should we name the individual hairs on our heads?” You thoughtfully replied, “If we named the individual hairs on our head I think it would be sad. So many hairs are lost every day - I don’t think I’d want to pick a name & then realize a few days later that Natasha or Billy or Zelma was no longer there! Also…you’d inevitably have to recycle names. I think it would be chaos.” Friend, you are soooo wise! I’m with you! Well, When I randomly asked this question, I never even thought of how sad it would be, indeed, for all the lost hairs! I LOVED your contemplation - such depth. Thank you for inspiring me to think deeper! I’m lucky to have you inspiring me so much with not only your incredible art, but your terrific thoughts too. =)

u/lehmongeloh Thank you for the super pretty card of Queen Lili’nokalani, the last Queen of Hawaii! I love the quote attributed to her: “Never cease to act because you fear you may fail.” That is super helpful for so many reasons. The RaoC test sticker is soooo sweet. I also LOVE the Affirmators card you added with the most adorable graphic of Einstein & include the full affirmation text so that your kindness will inspire others: “My Genius - I believe in my inner genius & encourage it to speak up as much as possible. When it seems to be feeling shy, I coax it to contribute ideas by sharing even its tiniest, craziest thoughts out loud. The more validated my genius feels, the more apt it is to participate. And nobody puts my genius in the corner.” OMG this is so awesome!!! And so cool that it also makes me think of “Dirty Dancing” & heroic Swayze/Johnny rescuing Baby from the corner LOL! Lastly - I LOVE your fun username! Thanks for sending me such fun mail, you super fun spirit!! =)

u/Boomer1717 x 2 Thank you for the cool vintage mini postcard of Lester Park in Duluth, Minn. & for the neat little postcard packaging! It was also neat to see The Gipper on the stamp! I’m so delighted I could teach you 8 new words writing my requested name. ;) I was so fascinated with your reply to my question asking the strangest thing that has happened to you. You had me hooked when you wrote that you were on your way to a meeting in a suit & tie when you “...had to visit a high-end grocery store at (can’t read this part)” where the employees confused you for a store inspector hahahaha! That’s hilarious! I can relate to anticipating inspectors - I once ran a family business and it was hell every 6 months waiting for the spooky inspectors. I’m so curious about this store - I don’t think I even knew that high-end grocery stores exist! I guess Whole Foods is as fancy as I’ve seen. I’d love to know which store if you don’t mind telling me. I had a lot of fun reading your lovely story - thank you for sharing! Thank you for the gorgeous upcycled Disney postcard! I love the way you upcycle!!! I also love the Aurora quote: “They say if you dream a thing more than once, it’s sure to come true.” Wishing you happy dreams!

u/Lucky-Strength-297 Thank you for the super cuuuute handmade V-Day card of the vegetable/plant heart cut-outs (so creative) with the adorable message “You’re a pretty sweet potato yourself”! It takes one sweet potato to know another. ;) Hope you had a beautiful V-Day!

u/seriouswalking Thank you for the “Awww” inciting “Bee Happy” V-Day card with the cutest bee ever! I also love the little “You’re a Hoot” mini card & all the fun as heck stickers! The little apple & pancake stickers are 😘!!

u/wabisabi_sf x 3 Thank you for the gorgeous Tarsila Do Amaral “Women in Art” postcard with the cool silver ink writing (I’m so amazed by how much you typically write for your offers, wow!), the whimsical illustration card of “20 Seconds Before the Rain” (totally so wonderfully whimsical), & the SUBLIME STUNNER - your magical masterpiece - my beautiful baby, the HELLA AWESOME, maybe I-was- so-happy-I-tinkled-a-tad postcard of The. Delicious. Diva. That catty, confident, crazy cool coffee bean with the slogan: “I like my coffee how I like myself: dark, bitter, & too hot for you.” I adore the pink kawaii pattern you used for the background & the fun decorations you used! Your thought that “I’m just waiting to see if my coffee chooses to use its powers for good or evil today” is so funny!! I searched for anti-affirmation calendars that feature this precious coffee bean (and that adorable cupcake/miracle muffin pic I saw) but can’t find it - I’d love to know the exact title if possible! I’d been having a super sad, craptastic day because of a grumpy family member when a magic wand - you & this little cute coffee bean, made my heart happy & turn that frown upside down!!!! Before that moment, I didn’t think it would be possible for me to smile that day. I can’t even begin to explain how this one act of kindness turned my day around. THANK YOU, sweet snail mail angel!!! =)

u/tiredpantyhose Thank you so much for the lovely artsy postcards you sent that can be passed on to others! The Bodleian Library one is my fave - so regal! Really weird - the postmark is dated 1/20/23 but I didn’t receive this until 2/22/23. I usually post thank-yous like a Walgreens pharmacy tech & “process them in the order in which they were received” ;) but this had to jump to the front of the thank-you queue. I’m still trying to figure out what party all the oddly-delayed mail goes to for weeks like this hahaha - it’s fun to think about! I’d love to hear insight on mail mysteries if anyone has any… =)

u/thecaledonianrose Thank you for the sweet V-Day wishes with the herbal tea which looks delicious! I love the V-Day facts you included: “Did you know that V-Day was first celebrated in 1400? There is a debate between historians whether the date honors the death of St. Valentine of Paris or if it refers to the 3rd century priest of Rome, as he defied Emperor Claudius IIs ban on marriage.” Thank you for the fun history lesson!! =) Hope your V-Day was grand, friend!

u/RedbloodQueen Thank you for the kissable “Two Peas in a Pod” V-Day card - holy heck I have never before seen peas I wanna kiss!!! =) So darling. Hope you had a lovely V-Day!

u/welshfancy Thank you for this GORGEOUS vintage-y “To My Valentine” postcard of the smooching lovers!!! I’m gaga over the artwork, including the beautiful pastel village painted beneath the couple. Wait a minute - is loverboy grabbing her goodies?!?!? Hahaha!!! Did you get this postcard from Amz? I’d love to check out more in this series because the artwork is delightful. Even if Renaissance Romeo is naughty. Your personal anecdote is hilarious - “My mom was positive the kids in class would appreciate my hand cut hearts more than actual candy only kid to bring handmade cards” LMAO! Isn’t it awesome how handmade cards are all the rage now (or were they always, and kids are just dumb, I dunno)?!?

u/Simple-Reference-357 Thank you for this colorful illustrated V-Day postcard, which brightened my day so much! I also love the pretty pink washi stamp decoration you used! Hope you had a beautiful V-Day.

u/inconsolableonion Thank you for the cute penguin belated X-Mas card! I love your username too! Hope you have a beautiful 2023. =)

u/libertyprogrammer Thank you for the fun ‘A’ alphabet postcard! I really love the elegant “Carte Postale” ink stamp! I guess I don’t really have a fave letter of the ABCs either…just thought I’d go with ‘A’ since it’s the beginning. ;)

u/larche14 Thank you for the postcard of this timeless beauty - the chromolithic pattern from 1896! What great doodles of strawberries, flowers, & cake! =) I’m trying to think more visually since I’m wordy as heck so I love your unique art prompt!

u/finishingthetea Thank you for the Glover Garden postcard from your trip featuring the neat-o stamps & washi! I also enjoyed your thoughts on gardening/concentric circles. I like the idea of intertwining circles & gardens because it makes me think of infinity/infinite beauty. Wishing you more trips to glorious gardens! =)

u/scubaduck Thank you for the fine postcard of the beautiful ballerina Misty Copeland! That is INCREDIBLY inspiring that she didn’t start dancing until the age of 13! I appreciate the inspiration, friend!

u/GothwitchofBrooklyn Thank you for the positively dreamy space postcard of “The Grand Tour” - it’s so gorgeous!!! Your friend is so talented & lucky to have you showcase their art! I’m lucky you sent me such neat snail mail - thank you!!!

u/No-Weakness7343 Thank you for this fun experimental ink pad art card with the neat pencil sketches. You’re so talented!! Welcome to the sub - thank you for letting me be one of your first recipients! Hope you have a great time here. =)

u/bridgewires Thank you for the soothing floral-patterned pretty postcard that you decorated with the most beautiful stickers! What a FABULOUS haiku you wrote: “Create to relate - postcards & mail delight - and your light shines bright.” Wow - this is so lovely! Thank you for creating for me. =) You’ve inspired me to try the art of haiku! Hope you had a great V-Day.

u/cattily Thank you for the romantic postcard from my *favorite* magazine, The New Yorker! I’m mad about their art work! I just love the gorgeous Singapore “Vanishing Trades” stamps on it - what gorgeous art! I also appreciate the fun film rec you added - “The Night is Short, Walk on Girl.” I will definitely check it out! I love the colorful way you described this film - “Psychedelic, silly, yet full of heart.” That sounds like my style!!! A few of my fave films include “Stranger than Fiction”, “Lars & the Real Girl”, “Little Miss Sunshine”, & “Jeff Who Lives at Home”. I think your description fits these films too! Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts with me. Wishing you a year full of fine films to inspire you! =)

u/stephkempf x 9 Good Lord (!!!!!) you snail mail goddess, with all this divine energy, what do you eat for breakfast?!?!? =) I’m in awe of your mail-sending prowess!!! I wanna know how you balance all this mail love with everything else in your life. Thank you so much for the delightful “Creativity Takes Courage” mini Matisse card postcard! Love the print. Thank you for the Hangman game, The Office guessing game, & the 4 weird as hell Pomegranate portrait postcards (the Ben-Hur one is very cool, not weird ;). I enjoyed your comments on the Nude Girl & Reeds postcard: “It cracks me up that you said no butt washi, but ended up with a butt anyway lol.” Hahaha I only said no butt washi this time because I’ve been lucky to already get boundless butts from you & don’t want the mail person to start withholding my mail. ;) Thank you in advance for all the nightmares those people are bound to give me hahaha! Thank you for the thank you postcard (craaazy pretty art in my fave fun bright colors). Thank you for the sweet bird memo responding to my demented bird writing prompt - you have a heart of gold to want to sing the Barney song to my sick self. ;)

u/maiiiu x 2 Thanks for the colorful postcard of the sweet scene out of “Castle in the Sky.” Thanks a billion for the HEAVENLY homemade pink-themed “CREATE” card!!! I ***love*** it so much!!!!! Pink is my fave. ;) You’re so creative & talented!!!! I’m in awe of the gorgeous way you decorated it all, from the artsy envelope to the card with the eternally cute “My Melody” memo sheet you washi’ed, to the so-adorable-it hurts bear stamp (Please! Where can I find this?!? I’ve never seen anything like it on Amz/stores), to the sweet little bird waiting for me behind the floral-themed window. But wait - there was another surprise washi’d into the envelope interior - the sweet pink-themed stickers! You’re as magical as these sweet fairies with all the snail mail love you brought me!!! Thank you!! =)
