I feel like I knew so much more about space before I had babies and my brain completely turned to mush! I’ve definitely missed getting out the telescope and hope I’ll be able to do that a bit more here soon… Maybe it’ll motivate me to relearn!

It kind of looks like some of the custom work by the super talented u/bluedecemberart, and I love how it all goes so perfectly together!

Then you spoiled me with such a cute handmade winter card and included such an encouraging message. January has been going so well here, and I hope it has been for you as well!

u/mikepenpal6, I think I said something twice this week that I never thought I would: “What a cute spider!” First, it was prompted by an article I saw about the Chrysilla Volupe, some cute little rainbow spider… but the glittery purple spider with sequin AND googly eyes from you definitely wins the cute award! Thank you so much for sending this my way. I don’t think it was late at all. All the decorations and stickers made me smile so much! I loved hearing about your celebration, too! I hope Spiderman had a blast! That sounds like so much fun. :D

u/mydinosaurdidit (x3), Wow! What a gorgeous New Year’s card! There’s a handmade aqua card with silver and glittery silver diagonal lines, a tiny card with rainbow “Books Build Character” and a type-written one as well.

I’ll be writing back in more detail in the next card, but I loved every bit of it, especially the way you describe the feeling of homes that are heated by a fireplace. It’s just the height of cozy and makes me want to grab a tea and a book! The fact that you can type the entire thing without any corrections is super impressive, too! I always get a bit giddy to see what incredible art you’ve made every time I see your handwriting in my mailbox. I’m so lucky! Thank you!

u/stockman1984, thank you so much for the gorgeous wintery Peanuts card! I adore the little singing Snoopy and all the pretty textured snow! I don’t know if I’ve mentioned it, but my son is a big fan and would only watch The Peanuts Movie and one other when he was younger, so we basically know it by heart.

Lol!! The Barbie postcard cracked me up so much! It’s going on the side of the fridge after I post this. I wonder how long it’ll take my in-laws to notice it! :D It’s too perfect!

I also got the super sweet little “There might be something wrong with you” bear, and I just couldn’t stop laughing! I’m so glad you get me! XD It was absolutely the self-esteem boost/laughter I needed! Lol your cards always brighten my day. I’m so lucky I know you!

Then I received this super pretty teacup card, and I just might need to put this up in the kitchen for a while because we’ve been going through the tea like crazy lately. It’s the cold weather, I think. Anyway, you always find the coolest cards, and I didn’t think you could happen across a better one until I saw the next one that came the same day…with lots of cat washi (I like how you layered the different washi tapes, btw) and sweet little kitty stickers on the envelope. I opened it and started dying laughing! You do find the best things!

I think the first I saw was the postcard where you went to uni, and before I flipped it over to read it, I thought I recognized the area from a card you sent previously! Did you ever walk by that gorgeous river? I feel as though I might never accomplish anything there because I’d just be so distracted by the scenery and forget to go to classes.

I really liked hearing about the chocolate factory you once lived near. I was getting Willy Wonka vibes from it and had to immediately grab some chocolate, but that is pretty much at every slight thought of chocolate…

Then I received a note dated 20 Dec about some of the delicious treats you tried while you were on holiday.

An Amelia Earhart postcard arrived, dated 2 Jan. I am so glad things are going well! I know you mentioned that you might not be able to send/post thanks as much this month, but you've been beating me to it every time! :D

Then you sent cards to share with the rest of the family (I passed them all around to the intended recipients), and that was just so thoughtful that I can’t even begin to keep up! You’re so great, friend!
