I do like the postcard design and think it's so charming, I love re-paintings where a classical style subject is upgraded with a little bit of modern humour! I did have such fun on our trip and both our relaxed approaches to it really help because sometimes I'm anxious if I overplan and don't get to hit up all the spots I hoped for, but this was a really good approach! Definitely hope for more such trips in future.

The galaxy theming of my name and address on the front side and the elephant wax seals on the back really got me hyped up to open it (not to mention the post office astronaut bear!!) and I slit the envelope open so carefully. The Handmade card within of the turtle swimming through space did not disappoint, I'm in love with how beautifully themed it is with the background, shiny card and washi tape. Not to mention the sheening blue-pink ink! Is it Diamine skull and roses, if I may hazard a guess?

I had a short weekend hop recently with a fellow RaoCer to stationary shop and it's been a lovely short break, and of course you've heard of my trip to the UK recently when I got the Discworld Emporium merch mailed to me. During that trip I went on a day long mine exploration in Snowdonia and loved it! I wish I could do more next year and get to go on that trip you mentioned in March.

Ohmigosh while I was in the UK I attended a staged production of My Neighbour Totoro and it was transcandent and magical and made me into a kid again. It's so adorable how your girl has Mei's spirit!

For what it's worth I'll take autumn cards over summer cards any day - goodness knows I get enough of it living in this equatorial climate! I am planning to go to Birmingham (UK) for a hobby convention in May so I'm really looking forward to that since I've had to miss it for 3 years and am missing the friends and atmosphere of it when I last attended!

PS. Adored the bouquet of skulls! Very in theme with a Discworld holiday card.
