As some of you may know, I've been working on gathering the things to start up a nail art tutorial blog. I've almost got everything now (seriously, why is finding daylight bulbs so damn hard) and am getting ready to start putting together my first post.

However, I suck at most other artsy stuff, so I'll leave it to you lovely ladies to help me with a banner.

So to enter

• Make a banner for "Offbeat Nails"
• Tell me something you'd like to see a tutorial on
• Link me to something on your list that's between $10-$20 (I don't actually know how much work goes into making a banner, so if this isn't a fair amount please let me know)

I will pick the winner May 21 and will hopefully have both the new banner and the first post up by the 22nd.

Some info that I didn't even know I needed. Heehee.

• The blog so far is just black white and grey so there's not much restriction on color. I do prefer blues, greens and purples though, if that helps any.

• I don't really have a typeface preference so long as it's legible.

• The most offbeat thing I've done so far is either the burnt parchment design or the Medusa Cascade from Doctor Who. Offbeat more meant (to me) more than just a French or solid color tending to lean towards to geeky side.

• A logo might be more what I have in mind, but either will work for the purpose of this contest though :)

• I tried finding a size and the only info I found was that it it would be shrunk to 1480 pixels wide if it exceeds that. So i guess that would be the limit?
