[META] When an encounter goes very wrong [Warning for the #London Ladies]

Post Body

Hello!

I will be very blunt and to the point in this post.

If you are a woman in London that uses our forum, please be extremely careful with who you choose to meet up with. A few days ago, a male user wrote what we thought was disgusting, misogynistic erotica and submitted it as a success post. It involved noncon, choking, and reeked of misogyny. We deleted it because we thought it was obvious bullshit, and permabanned him for being a hateful piece of garbage.

It was not bullshit. A young lady reached out to me about having been involved in that story. It was true. He, by his own account, essentially tried to force his cock down her throat and then mocked her for not being able to handle it.

If you are that young lady, I cannot access your message in my chat inbox (long story), but I did manage to see it before it went away. Please feel free to reach out to me again, or any of our other mods (/u/yawaniworth, /u/iftair, etc).

For everyone else: Always, always, always be safe. Never meet someone without having spoken for at least a week first over messages and even calls. When engaging in BDSM type conduct, have a safe word. Have a safe contact who you text three times. Once before the encounter to acknowledge you're there, once in the middle to say you're fine, and one at the end to say it's over. Always consider a coffee date first to suss out any crazy vibes before hand.

Much love,

Verity
