You might ask, "Verity, why the hell do you guys have so many mods?!"
Automod removes dozens if not hundreds of posts daily. The mods remove the other several dozen that slip by. We handle catfishers, spammers, and people in need of serious help (e.g., suicide threats), hopefully most of the time before the rest of you see it.
I'm confident our new additions will be an excellent help in subreddit management.
