I’ll be in Midtown for meetings with the work mothership for the first time this coming week. I was hired remotely a year and a half ago and It will be my first time meeting the work team IRL. I don’t travel much these days and it’s been ages since I’ve been to NYC. I’m wondering if there’s a chance someone might want to find a bar near my hotel and grab a drink on Monday evening and if it’s a good vibe, make it a repeat on Tuesday evening after im done with dinner with the boss.

I’m a researcher and analyst with a professor vibe. I’ve got some tattoos and a Gen X cynicism under my professional nerd veneer. I’m 6ft, green eyes and dark hair turning silver. I take care of myself and workout regularly. I’m strong but definitely still a dad bod from sitting at a computer all day long.

It’s been awhile but I’ve had some past successes here. I’m most comfortable with someone - 10 years of my age but I’m open to talking with anyone interested. Full disclosure, I’m married. We’ve always had an agreement to trust each other to make our own decisions. Just don’t bring it home.
