I had a success earlier this week.
I received about 80 messages. The first guy I decided to set up a time and place with bailed on me but let me know instead of ghosting, thankfully.
Luckily he had canceled because I had a nice time with the next guy I met. He was very nervous but otherwise normal over messages. We met in public, where he was able to make eye contact, listened to me, no red flags! He was the most respectful hookup I've had. Very polite and complimentary. Pushed for PiV twice but I think there was miscommunication and not his fault I didn't want to have sex. I enjoyed it and am glad that it wasn't a failed public meetup where we didn't click.
There was one bad man who was extremely hostile to me in the messages. I had considered meeting him and he seemed ok. He turned out to be an asshole who interpreted my post as an opportunity to disregard my boundaries and "use me", as if he had already built up a fantasy in his head how he was going to decide everything. I didn't meet with him. Out of all the other men who messaged me, I didn't receive any behavior like this, so shout out to the good ones.
