I’ll try to keep this short but can be more in depth later if you’re interested.
I'm 32 years old, 5'8" and 180 lbs. I guess you can say I’m a typical nerd into cons, video games and comic book movies. I go to the gym when I can to build muscle as I was always considered skinny and small in stature. But not in all places:)
The way I grew up really impacted who I am as a person. I was abused a lot as a child and it caused me to become a very nervous person. I spent most of my time alone and didn’t go out much and it’s kinda been that way since. Over the years I've opened up more with the help of therapy, but unfortunately my experience with women was non-existent until recently, when I had my very first date and passionate kiss with a woman. We began dating, but due to her difficult circumstance the relationship wasn’t healthy for either of us to continue.
I'm not sure if we will talk again but I miss not having someone to connect with. I fear that I will never have anything like that happen again and that kiss was dream like. I couldn't believe I was making out for the first time ever, I wanted more. I think about it a lot.
Dating apps and sites have been a real struggle for me and the experiences have been really discouraging, but trying to meet women in person is just as hard for me.
I'm grateful I had those experiences, but I refuse to wait another 30 years for it to happen again. So I’m posting here to seek guidance and discover things I never knew about myself. And hopefully develop meaningful connections along the way.
I made a profile to vent as my isolation brings me down so it helps putting myself out on here in this way.
