Welcome to another safety guide from yours truly! Today we're going to discuss how to identify catfishers in the wild. This post is aimed at identifying people online who are pretending to be women wanting to suck dick.
This is not an all inclusive list, and there may be the occasional woman who does act like this. Still, the below should all be treated as potential red flags.
Type 1: Too many comments on men-gone-wild type subreddits
This type of user loves complimenting the male form. /r/Massivecock (while I do love it as a women myself), for example, is mostly populated by gay guys. It is fairly uncommon for female users to go to a bunch of subs about cocks and leave comments saying they love foreskin or they love his hairy bush.
Type 2: Talks like a dude
"Sloppy Head", "hmu", "BBC to drain" > these are all things that women don't typically say. In fact, here's a list of words and phrases commonly used by men and not women. If you see a woman talking about wanting to service Alpha cocks and guzzle cum, it's probably a dude.
Type 3: Describes herself like a pornstar bio
Most women don't describe themselves like this. Most of our resident ladies usually write approximately a little paragraph about themselves. They certainly don't normally call themselves a "natural 34D". They also aren't running gloryholes, which leads me to my next point.
Type 4: Gloryhole
Most women are not running gloryholes, I hate to tell you. Gloryholes are much more often with gay men. The post is written like a fantasy, designed to entice a man into replying. It also includes "cum and go" from our Type 2 section, a phrase a woman normally won't use.
Type 5: Pretending to be a couple
Example 1 and Example 2 from the same post.
Always check their posting history! Our automod always includes a link to their last post. Gay guys will post as M4M, get discouraged at lack of responses, and then come back with a fake wife or girlfriend to try to entice users to PM them. A mostly single gay male posting history where they suddenly pop up with a girlfriend should be treated as sus.
Type 6: Can't keep their story straight
Note the changing ages. It can also be changing physical descriptions for the lazier catfishes. Also note that they're guilty of Type 1, posting a lot more than "normal" to dick-oriented subreddits.
That's all for today! I hope this helps keep even one person more safe today on the internet.
N.B.: All of the users in this guide were asked to verify by the mods but have ignored it. They could be real. I doubt it.
Much love,
Verity
