As we approach the reopening of /r/RandomActsOfBlowJob, the mod team has worked to make changes and improve the quality of posts, messages and the subreddit.

As discussed in Number 3 of the recent "New and Updated Rules" post submitted earlier this week, we are interested on receiving feedback regarding optional verification and mandatory verification for suspicious posts on RAOBJ. The aim is to reduce the number of fake profiles, pic collectors and catfish, and also to encourage users to have greater trust/faith in the platform.

The poll will have 2 options and will be live for 6 days. Find below further information on the options.

Option 1: Maintain Current Policy

Things remain as they are.

Option 2: Optional Verification Mandatory Verification for Suspicious Posts

This option is rather self explanatory. No verification will be required for most posts however, should a post garner enough attention for questionable content, details or contradictory post history they may be contacted by moderators for verification. Users have the option to verify themselves should they choose. The verification process will be similar to those found on other subreddits (i.e. 3 photos with Username, Date and Subreddit PM'd to modmail; 2nd and 3rd photos with the verification sign crumpled then flattened) The aim is to implement a verification flair.
