Maybe you just got out of a relationship. Perhaps you are completely happy being single and don't feel the need to sacrifice your independence right this moment. Maybe you are incredibly laser focused on your career and a relationship might get in the way of that. Or, like someone I used to meet up with, you are not emotionally available for someone else right now.

However, you have needs like anyone else. You want to at least partially fulfill those needs. In a discreet private setting. Where the person who provides this setting is in a stable situation devoid of life's chaos. Somewhere you can retreat to to explore those urges in a place the world doesn't peer into.

The problem is everyone around you is taken. College parties you don't necessarily fit into. Bars are hard because you have to vet everyone because you need trust first right then and there. Even then, how would you know that the person isn't taken, doesn't want a relationship currently, AND isn't someone that could potentially bring chaos into your life. There is also the whole chemistry part.

I'm pushing for my dream career and decided to hold off on being in a committed relationship at the moment. However, I have those urges too.

We can chat from time to time during the week but ideally meet up every week or other week. I am available Friday nights as the best nights for this. Also some Sunday nights could work.

I live with a roommate but I have my own room, they work 2nd shift, and keep to themselves.
