TL;DR: Ash got her new module in Arknights and, according to the lore from her module, is now forming and leading a special ops team in Terra (Arknights' world), probably backed or even employed by Maylander Security and Defense Company.

Arknights had a collaboration event with R6S in the past, and now together with "Dorothy's Vision" eventt in CN server which is around 6 month ahead of global server, all Marksman/Anti-air Sniper archetype, including Ash, got their own modules which enchanted their stats and abilities and also added more lore about them. Below is Ash's module and the translation of lore from her modules.

Keep in mind that I used machine translator (DeepL and Google Translator) to translate line by line, trying to make sense of it, then writing it down again in comprehensible manner. The problem is, English is not my first language so what I was trying to do is translating a languege that I did not speak into a language that I didn't particularly proficient in it. For that reason, expect some grammar mistakes, and sorry for inconvenience in advance.

Jacob Roland had never expected this. He never expected that an obscure Kazimierz's competitive knight like him, could ever get a job in Columbia. Even though the job itself was just too bizzare.

Inside the small meeting room of the Maylander Security and Defense Company, southern district of Cast Iron City, silently, he carefully polished his small shield and weapon while waiting for his "boss" to arrive. Jacob looked around the room. There were five eccentric "professionals" sat down around him. Next to him, a Sargonian was showing off his muscles. The two meter tall man boasted that he could punch through the walls with his fist. The Bolivarian soldier whom he had been talking with was assembling a crossbow. The arrow marked with many different colour looked really conspicuous. Leaning against the wall, the Leithanian caster toyed with his spellcasting unit, occasionally letting out the sound of electricity. Lastly, two Victorian who were closest to the window. One of them was holding a huge hammer that is even bigger than his own head.

Each one of them looked like they've fought so many battles, putting their lives' on the line while dashing through fire and countless swords pointed at them. Then what about him? The toughest battle Jacob had ever experienced was nothing more than a duel in the Kazimierz Arena. Was he really qualified for this? Why had many warriors from various countries been invited to Columbia? Just as he was lost in thought, someone pushed open the door. A tall, red-haired lady wearing sunglasses walked in. The lady had a small firearm hanging from her waist, but she wasn't a Sankta. She unhurriedly walked to the front.

"Jacob Roland" and "Cast Iron City" is unofficial localization. Official localization may differ.

For your information, Kazimierz is Terra's equivalent of Poland, Columbia--USA, Victoria--UK, Leithania--Germany, Bolivar--Latin America, and Sargon--Africa, Middle East, probably some Mongols, maybe also Aztec, idk. Sargon is quite complicated.

Rhodes Island Pharmaceutical Inc. (Protagonist and player's character faction and company) had worked with Maylander Child Rights Protection Foundation before in order to retrieve some small girl who had been turned into walking deadly weapon by inhuman experiment performed by Loken Watertank Laboratory. I still don't know about its relation with Maylander's Security and Defense Company. It's possible that it is simply a translation error. It is recently known that Maylander's objective (I forgot whether it was from the manga or newest event "Dorothy's Vision" which also took place in Columbia) is to prevent any inhuman experiments and human rights violation conducted in Columbia's lands.
