Dust Line PC performance issues?

First game I played on the new patch I was getting frame rate drops continually, anyone else getting this?
In more detail, the game seems to be running near enough the same frame rate it was before the patch, but when events like guns being fired or explosives detonated happened I was getting massive frame drops or straight up freezing for a few seconds. Currently verifying files to see if that helps.
EDIT: 30MB of unverified files.
