How is it not boring playing the same team compositions every match?

I struggled to get into arena for awhile but recently have been really enjoying it and actually getting into it more and trying different teams out. I was able to go from being stuck in bronze for 2 months to gold in a few days and it didn't feel like a grind at all because of how fun it was figuring out how to go about each match.

I decided to take a look at the top players list because I never bothered to before, and I saw every player had some variation of the same team. I get that this game is really nothing but grinding, but arena is the one area where we get a little bit of freedom from the "multi-battle through the same dungeon strat" routine.

It just seems like it would get boring and take the fun out of arena as I know it now.
