Ive played a dozen gatcha games, and I've spend thousands of dollars throughout them. I'm a veteran to the genre. I love this game so far and normally I'm not one to complain about compensation, and usually I'm the one to tell people to suck it up, shit happens. With that being said, I honestly dont feel that this compensation is worth much. 100 gems doesn't get you much of anything. 300 energy is very short for an entire days worth missed out. The exp boost is nice but most people should have a week or more saved up still. And what's the purpose of the clan boss keys? yes, your clan might get another boss down, maybe, and so you'll be able to get a chest or two more. But again, that's random and it might not amount to anything.
This is a game of farming. You will spend hundreds of hours farming stuff, I've been playing almost 2 months and for the most part my phone is running 12 hours a day, so I'm speaking from experience here. People love to gamble. They love to spend shards for pulls. And now I know you dont want people to have all the best stuff early on even though that doesnt make a difference, and it ultimately hits your pockets by giving away shards, but that's what people want. Even if they get duplicates, they feel that rush of gambling and more importantly, it's fun! It makes players happy!
I will say, thank you for owning up to it. Seeing the devs talk on discord and seeing the in game news stating that "it's our fault, not yours" is refreshing and that's good rapport with me. Some other games devs never openly talk to their players and they offer lame excuses that never get fixed, and I realize you're doing what you can. So please keep it up so I can keep enjoying my latest addiction.
Sincerely,
Nintura
