Everyone here has accepted running the same thing over and over again. Why?
Why not some randomized content? Say, a dungeon you can complete once a week, with enemies with random abilities. Like a puzzle, a challenge. Something you can't beat without a specific set of debuffs or buffs.
Why not waves that aren't champions? Champions being waves is honestly a net negative, its actively un-immersive. It makes the champions in our collections feel more like placeholders. Right now the only non-champion enemies are enemies that appear alongside bosses. Plus, non-champion wave enemies could actually have cool mechanics that might not work with champions, and might make the waves fun. Right now, outside people who like hard doom tower waves, waves are literally just a battery and time waster.
Why not some content that isn't solved by straightforwardly killing something? Imagine this: a weekly dungeon or special event. A ton of zombies you can burn, they don't die, but you have a damage counter like clan boss, and get rewards at the end based on the damage dealt. As an example: maybe a special mechanic could be involved, where multi-hits trigger burns. Or what about a dungeon full of treasure chests? You get a turn limit to hit the chests as hard as you can (to differentiate it from clan boss, where you're limited by survival). So you'd be trying to maximize short term damage. What about enemies you can heal, and heal does 10x damage?
All of these ideas could make champions that are unused shine too. I just feel like this game's content could be so much better, if raid understood the value of variety.
