To explain... Sometimes when patients have a chest x-ray, there may be a rounded density projected over the lung (this is the UK so we don't do a lateral view as standard, just a PA). Sometimes these can be easily identified as nipples, however, on occasion the patient may have a repeat chest x-ray with external nipple markers on to identify them on the image. The differential may be a lung lesion. This referrer has got a bit mixed up with their wording, raising a few Radiographers eyebrows!
