For prospectors, how much background are you looking for on a good collection site?

Got my GMC-500 and drove around a bit yesterday. Noticed alot of areas near the mountains had a background of 30 vs the 14-20 of in town. We stopped at one area where the background was in the upper 40s and at some places upper 50s. Seemed like an excellent collection site. Lots of rocks that looked like petrified wood and it's in an area where I've found crystals before.

My Radiacode shows up tomorrow night and I'll be curious to hear how much background some of your fav collection sites might have for comparison.
