Hey, so a bit of background, I was raised in a very light "Christian" house. It wasn't a huge part of our identity as a family, however, my stepfather was a born again Christian so it was a big part of his at the time. At a very young age I kinda realized I had no connection to God and decided I was a soft atheist/hard agnostic, which has been very consistent up until recently. Within the last couple years I've felt a bit of a spiritual awakening, due in part to my increased interest in philosophy, and I've looked into a few different faiths over the last few years, namely Judaism, Islam, and Zarathushti (Zoroastrianism) to varying degrees.
None have really felt right though, the closest probably being Zarathushti, very beautiful faith if you have the time to research it. Now, however, I'd like to try and return to Christianity. I've read The Bible in the past a few times as a form of punishment, but I'd like to actually give it a go of my own volition and I was wondering what is a good way to read The Bible?
TL;DR How do I read The Bible(KJV)?
Edit: English Standard Version.
